OKAlpiq is pleased to have included Norvento Enerxia in its portfolio. The contract increases Alpiqs renewable energy management portfolio to more than 1.5 GW of installed capacity, and allies Alpiq with Norvento Enerxia, a highly regarded Group in the Spanish power generation industry. Norvento Enerxía generates renewable energy and technology associated with distributed energy products and solutions. The Norvento Enerxia Group has more than 250 MW of renewable generation plants in operation in Spain, more than 700 MW developed and more than 1000 MW under development, both in Spain and abroad.
The wind farms are located in the province of Lugo. They are Cadeira (19.8 MW), Carracedo (9.9 MW), Neda (34.7 MW), A Pastoriza (36.0 MW), Sasdónigas (18.0 MW) and Sasdónigas II (9.9 MW). All of them will participate in intraday and balancing markets with Alpiq.
This agreement consolidates Alpiq's position as an energy company offering multiple services to other renewable generation companies as part of the value proposition in Spain and as a platform for the Iberian Market.
